43rd National Meeting of the National Association of Cavalry Arms
On May 20th, 2011 the National Meeting of the Cavalry will be held in Turin, with the following programme for the first day:
- 1:00 p.m. Piazza Castello (Piedmont Region Building).
Activation of the stop off point for gatherings in flow, which can collect the material prepared for the occasion and the coupons for the various activities booked (corps lunch ...). Will remain active until Saturday evening.
- 2:00 p.m. / 6:00 p.m. Piazza d’Armi.
National Horse Show - 1st day.
- 3.30 p.m. / 4.00 p.m. Piazza Castello – Monument to the Knigh.
Arrival of the Medals of ANAC and ANCI - Honors - flag-raising - Laying a wreath to the fallen.
Participants:
ANAC: National President, National Councillors, sections (those who flocked to Turin);
Civil and Military Authorities.
- 4:00 p.m. / 4:30 p.m. Piazza Castello.
Opening of the Village of chivalry by the National President of ANAC and the mayor of Turin.
Participants: the same as the previous activity.
- 5.00 p.m. / 9.00 p.m. National Museum of Italian Risorgimento.
Conference / debate about issues of historical and cultural considerations, the 150th anniversary of Unification and the Cavalry.
