84th National Gathering of the Alpine Corps
Each year in May in a different city, the ANA - National Association of the Alpine Corps, which organizes the National Gathering, including members of the Alpine Corps, friends, supporters and family, draws about 500,000 people. In Turin, on Sunday, May 8th, 2011, from 9 a.m., along more than 2 km, about 80,000 members of the Alpine Corps, divided into sections, the veterans, the ANA Departments of Civil Protection, the representatives of ANA Field hospital and the armed soldiers accompanied by the fanfare that plays popular and alpine music, will march between two wings of crowd, and will pass in front of the ANA Banner and in front of civil and military authorities.
The Gathering-related events, will start on Friday, May 6th, and will end on Sunday, 8th.
