Giro D'Italia

?Giro d’Italia and Comitato Italia 150 are partners for the entire competition of 2011, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification.

The whole Giro will offer the occasion to underline this important anniversary and to promote the events that Turin and Piedmont are carrying out to celebrate it.

The first stage course of the Giro will start from the suggestive Royal Palace of Venaria and will arrive in the centre of Turin through several symbolic, cultural and contemporary venues of the city. The start of the Tour of Italy will provide extra motivations to give the maximum: athletes, sport teams, spectators, promoters, organizers and media will be pleased to take the chance to give their best in front of such an international audience, so much greater than usual on this occasion.
